The thought has crossed my mind once or twice of adding the 80’s Toyota truck decals to my white truck:

I think you could pull it off, though!

There’s a doode in South Carolina, chad I believe, he did the same similar design on the hood of his first gen double cab. It was Plastidipped and it looked so cool. That was probably 5 years ago..I don’t think he’s on here though. I’ve always wanted to try it.

    Edit: similar to the picture.

That’s a 2nd Gen, check out the interior if you can find it. Not gonna lie, I kinda dig it. Fender flares need work.

My paint looks good until you get within 10 feet of the truck. Don’t know if they make dark gray plastidip but that would look pretty slick on yours.

Those with retros, what other lights do you have. My d2s seem to be plenty. Not sure where you could use extra light...

Replaced my o2 sensor for my P0031 code and it cleared for 1200 miles until this morning it threw a P0031 & P0442. Multiple forum posts show little success with that P0442 :(

I know how silly this is, so no need to point it out unless you really need to make fun of someone today.

My truck has never had the decal on the No. 2 Timing Cover, as far back as I can remember, so I decided to put one on. Part number 11288-62010. :)

Yeah it doesn't look perfect, but I lined it up with the factory marks on the cover. I think the camera was tilted for the photo. No bubbles though... it was a metallic backed sticker so it was pretty stiff.

    Here's a better photo:

That was me, lol. Turns out the brake lines were fine, the rubber coating was cracked due to age but the line underneath was uncompromised. The bolt holding the line to the caliper is what came loose and allowed brake fluid to leak out...tightened it up and it's been good since.

I do want to replace my lines as well though eventually, the rubber cracking from age can't be good for the hard line beneath it over time. Plus, you know...14 year old brake lines...can't hurt to put fresh ones in.

Put my bumper pack together, after paint matching it. I also heat gunned the filler plate and the bottom valance, then back to blacked it.

Swapped CV axles yesterday but couldn't get the seals out of the diff. Put it all back together so I could use the truck, figuring I'd get back in there today with the proper tools, but the new CV is stuck in the diff? Prybar easily popped the old axles out without much effort yesterday, but the new one is not budging. Any suggestions?
