Head unit keeps shutting off and on

Hey guys so I did the update on my head unit today and probably after 10 mins once the update was completed truck started giving me issues, my stereo turns off and on every 5-7 mins, and just right now all my lights turned on and started flashing (4wd,locker,traction control etc,) and trucks lights got really dim, anyone have this issue? Truck was running perfect before the update.

Seems like a popular issue lately. You are number 3 that I know of in the last 2 days. Both local to me and friends. Take it to the dealer is my only suggestion call and make an appointment for the issue.

 

Will do, ima drop it off Monday first thing in the morning, I was thinking maybe the battery since my lights dimmed a lot?, but we’ll see what the dealer has to say, will keep all Posted.

 

It's been a pretty common issue on here. Btw welome to TW, best way to search is to use Google and include "tacoma" or "Tacomaworld" in the search. Most issues have been had before.

 

The over-the-air update, or the update via USB? If it was only the OTA update, it also might be worth doing the update via USB.
