Fog Light Night Time Pictures

Tried searching for pictures of different fog lights installed and on during the night, apologies for flooding with another thread.
Just looking to get some comparison pictures from those who have installed aftermarket lighting in the fog lights. I’m looking to upgrade them myself, and keeping it at getting the most bang for the buck.

DOT approved?

 

YES - they are real fog lights ... light up down low and specially wide side of road when foggy. They make em in yellow too... even better for fog but I got the whites to look cool at the mall.

The Squadron WC are the DOT approved ones. They make brighter versions not DOT approved.

If you purchase “PROs” you’ll blind everyone on the freeway and on the streets.

Purchase PROs only if you’re planning on using it off-road.

I own a pair of BD amber squadron SPORT fogs and they’re plenty bright.

 

Got a link showing these are DOT approved? I was under the impression they're for off-road use only.

None of the Baja squadrons are dot approved. The sports are road friendly .. Meaning they are not as bright as the pros..but they are still very bright, and I don't like to use them unless I need them (snow or heavy fog.

When passing someone from the other direction and with my sports on I can clearly see the other drivers head light up.

 

Op, there are threads about baja designs light in the lighting forum, their vendor forum, and in the automotive group buy forum. Lots of pictures in those forums with their fog lights on..

 

Yup, not dot approved. Off road use only. I do love my squadron sport. Plenty bright

Yup. Baja Designs Squadron Sport are DOT approved. But the Baja Designs Squadron Pro is not.

FYI - these put out 4900lm (lumens) my LED headlights put out 6600lm per
