Pfft yeah tell me about it lol. Only time I really had that happen was when trying to swap out my steering rack bushings...couldn't get the stupid long bolt out of the drivers side bushing and had to put it back together to try another day.

Yeah i reused my headstrongs but ended up snapping one righ after cycling my leafs and then doing the aal. I was almost done from a lng day of measurments and dismantling my rear suspension multiple times. Then began the autozone extravaganza. They stayed on but three of the four sheared when I went to remove them to add superbumps. I dont wanna take apart my rear suspension for at least a year hahah

Damn...hopefully mine withstand being taken apart one more time lol. I'll have to keep an eye on them...don't want my axle to fall off on the trail and become insta-infamous.

I feel the same way about taking apart my doors...did it a half dozen times over the course of 6 weeks to change out handles that kept breaking. Never want to see the inside of my door again...

I'm one of those weird ones that never cries while cutting onions. Might feel a little burn but have never had tears doing it.

I like rear suspension, can have it all laying on the ground in 45 mins including the bed. Front is easy unless you remove the rack. Engine mounts were the most frustrating thing I've done on the taco. Also I lost my motivation to do the cruiser today. I'll take a short day at work tomorrow instead and do it when I can get my tire off.

Alright just double checked and Headstrong specifically states no need for new center pins when adding an OME leaf to the Dakar packs. Gonna head to the store to grab a few tools I might need....and beer.

Dam including the leafs? From set up to clean up after removing them 3 times in two months i could get everything taken off n put back in 3 hrs...15 min for just shocks, they are the easiest.

Yeah, all of my stuff comes apart really easily and I don't have the fiddly stock lower plate and ubolt setup so mine can be reached easier. Same with shocks. My shackles come apart at both sides so I just pull the sides off and the rear of the leaf drops down, then that just leaves the front hanger.

Of all the things I've done to my truck myself in the past year (since deciding I wasn't rich enough for this hobby if I was going to use a shop every time)...doing front/rear shocks has been the easiest. Putting in my King coilovers was so much easier than I anticipated it being, they literally just slid in...4 bolts and done. Rears were even easier minus having to compress the shock to make it line up, but that wasn't hard. Hardest thing was probably my leaf springs or my failed attempt at replacing my steering rack bushings.

I'm bad about scattering things, so I usually break after every major thing to put the tools back in the box. I need to take all of my oil barrels to be dumped so I have something to drain coolant into, but the trucks AC broke again (when it rains it pours) and that just sounds torturous at 110
