For all backcountry crapping a Murphy kit is essential. Latex type gloves not only keep hands clean during the wipe but also are a great way to contain toilet paper instead of burying it.

Camco 41545, nice thing, seals well, no stink, cleans easily. Tank treatment in to break up solid waste, handy unit. A little olive oil to keep the flush seal moist during storage times. Don't flush TP, burn it or bag it.

I've always got my 5gal bucket and a seat, kitty litter, and wag bags if neccessary. I still prefer the Murphy method.

    Not that Murphy.
The Murphy method is using latex style gloves for the wipe. Leave the shit tickets in a small pile and at the end you grab the tickets with a gloved hand, turn it inside out and then again with the opposite hand. Keeps your hands clean and gives you a well contained holder for your toilet paper which is then thrown in your trash. I don't leave TP buried anymore.

This was a tight little spot to get into (there was a truck 2' off my front bumper when I got there)
Great 1st trip with the Rubicon trailer

Just remember that lock-n-roll type hitches have limitations. Oh, and wear your seatbelt.

The dealer brought by a customers camper Friday night and I did the conversion on that now he wants another one done  if I keep going I’ll let him do the dual battery and solar in the camper and won’t cost me anything

Yes he has and beyond, it’s broke and the trailer is now sitting on the back of the ute.

I’m running a Treg hitch now but toying with buying a McHitch to install and test as while the Treg is awesome, it’s a bit of a handful to get fitted for my wife.

This is mainly a 1st gen problem, as fuel tank was upgraded in size for the 2nd gen folks. What are you doing to extend your fuel range, if at all? How has limited fuel range affected your offroad travels, if at all. And lastly, I'm sitting at 300 miles hwy/200 miles mild offroad for fuel range. What are peoples thought on that type of range for extended (longer than a week) trips.

Thanks for any tips and insight.
