Swapped winters (ditrytracs) with the summers bfg ko’s and the bronze wheels.



Cut what wax was left on it off (blue dawn) and used chem guys paint sealant held up well last winter so I’ll try it again.
I didn’t buff this year but did clay and had very little crap for the bar to get out.

So you foam the whole thing then wash as opposed to using a bucket?
I’ve seen these but wasn’t sure I’d use it.

 

There are two options for cleaning with it. You can just use it alone as a light wash if your vehicle is clean, but if you vehicle is very dirty you can grab the wash mits when you spray it in and start scrubbing. I was just testing it out today since it's hot as hell here in Georgia right now, so my truck is still a little dirty since I didn't scrub.

 

First oil change since I bought Betty.
Had to stab the oil filter with a screw driver because the freeking dealer I bought it from cranked the oil filter on. This is why I do my own maintenance.... sorry no pics, I got a little frustrated. Haha...

had some tubing laying around so I was able to drain the oil filter without making a mess. Just stumbled on that thread looking for oil capacity before I ran to the store.

Also re greased my 5 driveshaft points since I put new grease in the gun. Sticking with mobile one, I guess I will until they let me down.

Painted the tow hook, Painted the pro grill the same color as the wheels and installed. Also reflective white "TOYOTA" letters on the grill

 

Two weeks later finally have the switch pro 9100 installed

 

Awning installed, need to raise it or find a way to lift the bag higher (it sags a little).

Compressor lmost installed, need to tap the ignition and light for the switch.

Extinguisher has found it's spot, I need to figure out how to mount it now.

 

Took it to the local pond to let the pup chase some sticks in the water.

 

Dipped the bumper.

 

Mounted my Plano case, and relocated all the recovery gear!
