I tried doing a search and was having a hard time finding a good reference for this information; so why not try to have one spot to go for all the possible options. So go through the different spots that you can run wires into the cab.

Most people, myself included, know about the gasket that leads to underneath the passenger seat. As well as running them through the firewall.

Anyone else find other spots that you can run wires through? Pictures and details will only help those looking back.

Good post, I looked for the alternatives too, but just used the same grommet as the wire harness near the brake cylinder to run 2 16-guage wires to the battery for my 2-meter radio power supply. Whatever someone does, be careful to not damage the insulation on those other wires in this location. Another TW member messed it up pushing a wire through there and shorted out stuff- it was an expensive repair!

    Pics pending...

Anyone know of a spot to to get wires to come up underneath the driver side? I don't see the same gasket that's on the passenger side at least from the underside of the cab

For the documentary purposes of your thread (which is a nice idea) I suggest pics of those locations should be included.

Mostly because we have lots of automotive newbies around, much less the Tacoma specific newbies.

Behind my knife is the main grommet driver side. Gently fish a pull cord lace and fish stranded wire. Silicon the engine compartment side when done.

My 2014 5-lug AC has it. A few other places you can easily drill a grommet hole or two is between the e-brake cables under the center console and the rear corners of the cab behind the under seat storage cubbies. I put two on each side and ran air lines through them. The back half of the carpet along the door on both sides is attached to a piece of plastic ~ 18" long with a channel on the bottom large enough for 3/8" wire loom or a couple 1/4" looms.

Yep, can attest. $6200 USD. Mine failed under warranty somehow and that's how much it came to between parts and labor.
