    Never tried weed to controlling tinnitus.lnteresting! Mine is wicked in the right ear but have learned over the years to focus on other things to keep the trains at bay.l bought some of the newest hearing aids a few months ago (about 80% gone on the right side) and they are great.l Bluetooth Spotify during my waking hours to music at a low volume and that seems to keep the train demon away!

    Yes anything to manage the ringing is good. First time I tried weed which is for insomnia, PTSD, and pain the ringing stopped for a bit I was pleasantly surprised. I used to have to sleep with a small fan on close to my head and have some background noise during the day to help manage.

    Terrible. I had an RPG blow up above my head and have very little hearing in my left ear and not very good hearing in my right

    Seriously?!? Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck....

    I'm still a federal employee and we're explicitly banned, even from medical marijuana (currently). Plus, I'm in Texas, and the ultra-conservatives running the place are still quite against "the devil's lettuce."

    I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have that ringing. Maybe listen to Dark Side of the Moon at a more reasonable volume.

    Yes absolutely serious. And that sucks that Texas still hasn’t legalized medical marijuana. And there is no acceptable volume loud enough for dark side of the moon, Led Zeppelin, and bob segar. But in all seriousness I love not having the ringing in my ears for a few hours. The only down side is I can actually hear my wife ask me to do things. Lol

    My CPAP provides just enough white noise to cover the ringing when I sleep (had facial surgery while on active duty that ended up messing with my soft palate). I only really need it to stop whenever I need to wear hearing protection, like when I go shooting or doing yard work, otherwise I can drown it out with light background noise. Whenever I have ear muffs or ear plugs in, ALL I can hear is the brutal ringing and it's exhausting.

    They're just now opening Texas up to non-smoked forms, but they tend to be THC-free and specific to seizure patients. I don't care to get high (would rather not, actually), but if I could take something that toned it down when I needed it that would be great.

    I’ve tried some oils but didn’t get relief. Potency may not have been real “high”
    My hearing seems to be very sensitive to certain frequencies now also.

    At first I never used marijuana in my life not even in high school. But I went through an outside dr from the VA and he asked me to try it and I did and it helped a boat load. I don’t like the feeling of being altered in anyway, and the only time I use is right before bed an it’s stuff that doesn’t give you a head high it just relaxes you body. But it has honestly changed my life. I was in a humvee that got IED’ed and have extreme pain in my back and muscle spasms all the time. Not to mention a bad case of PTSD. I got sick of taking all sorts of meds to sleep and not feel pain, so it was a good trade off. I smoke a little bit to go bed and I take CBD oil capsules(no THC) to help with inflammation. I will never take another pain pill or ambeian again. The only problem is I got to Japan two weeks every year and it’s heavily illegal there so I suffer a bit.

    I use the oils for inflammation I take 20mg in the morning and then again in the evening. No THC in them.

    Yeah I have a mild case, 20 yrs in the Army will do that I suppose. Not as bad as some of you are experiencing. Only really bothers me at night, I keep a fan or white noise machine on in the room.
