Installed my OME AALs into my Dakars yesterday...sore as hell today. Doing leaf springs makes muscles hurt that I didn't know I had...

Sitting about a half inch higher in the back now with about 15% added load carrying capacity...hopefully this keeps me from riding on my rear bumpstops next time I have camping weight in the back.

Let me know when you want to do brake lines.
UPS finally un-fucked themselves and delivered my order today.

Need to install brake lines and U-Bolt Flip Kit + SuperBumps

For sure got a crazy couple weeks coming up, headed to Bend next week but can probably put something together after I get back. Need to do my rear brake line bad now, it was getting uncomfortably stretched out when installing my leafs. Probably looks the same when I'm flexing it.

Well finally dropped off my roof rack rails and front skid off for powder coating in Norco. Almost drove home again because they weren't at the the address listed on their website. I guess powder coating is a sketchy business because it took a myriad of phone calls and 3 trips to find a place that was actually open during their listed business hours.

My dad shot this of my truck this past Saturday, boy does it look good.

Nice. Should, I have a shell and had an rtt on at the same time for a bit. Plus all the camping paraphanalia (sp?). Didn't even come close to bumpstops.

That's what I like to hear. Want to have the rear be done once and for all so I can focus on saving up for a front bumper finally.

Northwest Trail Innovations makes a badass 1st gen plate bumper, DIY kit for like $550 or around there. Would probably ask Jason to weld it up and install it for me.

They specify with fiberglass, does that mean it's wider? I like DO bumpers, I'm gonna hit them up

Yep, no worky with stock fenders. Glass fenders aren't that expensive, but at that point you're at the same cost as a bumper that would work with stock fenders.
