Just got done with a nice 350 mile r/t day highway/dirt/country roads, lots of mountain terrain. Truck was so fun to drive in every way. I wasn't loaded down w/ more than a kayak and paddling gear, traveling solo - was really hard to keep the truck below 80 on the highway

 

You on 1.04?

 

Put some more miles on it today and this tune is still amazing. I hit the gas and it kicks in immediately. It's so worth it.

 

1.04 91 (93 in the tank)

The 3rd gear thing only bothers me when I have more cargo on longer, steeper grades. Short, steep and highway/city it rarely surfaces.

 

All done in HK/china. Free to get everything finished up

 

Will you be sending my Reg and tune files soon? Tomorrow?

Not sure what that's suppose to mean.....Should I just be happy that I don't have Reg files yet?

This thread has just developed into people asking where their email is etc.,

 

Boosted 3rd gen couldnt come any quicker!

 

I think this thread will go back to normal once us novices get our feet wet in this! We are just as anxious as I am sure some of you were when you were waiting. We read all of the good things about this tune and just want a good truck even better. And I am sure we will enjoy this once we are all squared away.

 

Well this is the forum we have to try and get answers, emails go days upon days without reply and when I see he’s online I figure it’s a chance to ask. If emails and communications were timely 99% of these questions wouldn’t have to be posted here.

I purchased two tunes for my fathers and I’s trucks...just excited and anxious to get them installed.

I will have it to you as soon as possible, I think it's fair to let people know you're waiting on a second key as we are troubleshooting some issues. Not like I am outright ignoring you or skipping you..


Also.. for anyone else having any issues that needs troubleshooting.. STOP reformatting your hard drives or re-installing windows, etc. please just do no do that. Please stop deleting and reinstalling 100x

 

The past couple days I've put about 800 miles on the truck with the tune and 1000 pounds in the bed. The tune is awesome. I can keep it in 5th with ect engaged going up moderate inclines and not have it shift to 4th. Also, like stated before, just wish it wouldn't hold gear going 30 mph at 2k rpms. I would like to see it not shift in to 6th if ect is engaged as well but it only seemed to do that while in cruise control so I didn't use it after the few times it happened.

 

Thanks for the Reply Matt, I realize there are teething issues with the installs etc. Lack of communication gets me twitchy.

Hang in there he will get you taken care of! Its about time with the tune, Mat is a one man show and somehow manages to take of everyone as quick as he can! I have followed you and your Dads truck builds and this tune will add so much to your already crazy awesome trucks you and your Dad have built!

 

I can't wait to get the tunes installed....I'm defiantly hyped!! Thanks man, we have been really enjoying the trucks so far.
