looooooooove it. I wish i had the disposable income to rebuild my GT, she's ancient....

 

Yeah, she’s an oldie but I’m used to her.

 

I think mine is somewhere in the range of 16k miles and the only thing that isnt worn out is the front hub...likely from how much time its spent in the air....

 

I would like to get two wheels for it, new set of kenda nevgal tires, replace the brake cables (not switching it to hydraulic discs because i'm old school and thats too much money), new crank and derailer set/shifters (upgrade it to a 29spd if it will fit), fresh paint, new headset, new seat and grips and a new trip computer.



It would also be nice to swap the old steel forks for some shocks with a lock out...but that could get expensive.........

Maybe there’s a bigger one available with even more gel.

Do what I did then, wear them under something else, still works just as well and you retain your "cool" factor, if that's important to you

 

Just going to guess with the grandma saddle that looking cool isn’t really a thing.

It’s the voodoo mount but modded a bit to work with the cap.

 

I think its brilliant. But for now I think that's gonna be a little further down the line as far as mods goes

 

Never worried about looking cool. Just don’t like cyclist clothing.
