    Yes correct, but remember the methonal only sprays above 4.5 pounds of boost for me.
    I can drive all day sometimes and never get into the 4.5 boost area with the methonal if I drive easy. Supercharger only creates heat under boost

    idk how you guys are getting 22mpg.

    maybe i need to put supercharger.

    my V6 DC 04 4x4 averages 14MPG.......

    sucks

    maybe less throttle needed when cruising with supercharger and gives better fuel economy?

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.
    I was able to get 20 from my double cab V6 on the highway. Even pretty loaded up and even with 33s.

    right up until i put the new offroad bumper on. Bye bye areodynamics.

    John is in a single cab with 250ish hp and almost 300ft/lb of torque with still 31s and strong bumpers.

    I get around 20mpg with my V6 single cab. Its great.

    The Volvo MAF mode definitely helped me gain a few extra miles per gallon.
    Today cruising at 65mph highway i was at 25 mpg.
    The supercharger actually moves the torque down to the 2000rmp range at max.
    At 2200rpms the superchargered engine is almost at max torque while the naturally aspirated motors torque is at 3600rpms.
    So with a few mods the supercharger is giving you an extra 100 hp and 100 torque
    so engine might be working less hard.

    Just an update on a number of questions from a bunch of Members PM included about access to the fan and belts etc.

    The 1st photo is with the new radiator installed without the shroud. At this point you have access
    to the fan, the fan clutch hoses and belts.

    The way the shroud is installed is as follows.
    The shroud has a lower section that clips on and off as shown
    in the BLUE color. This will let you slid the shroud with the radiator installed straight down (its tight)
    to be able to line up the bolt holes. The shroud is fat at the top, not at the bottom.
    After the shroud is attached with the 4 bolts you then attach the lower
    shroud trim piece(shown here in BLUE) that completes the round fan hole area using the 2 clips

    Hell I bolted the shroud on first before installing the radiator. Had no issues.

    Yup, there are a bunch of people that think you need to remove the radiator in order to get
    to the belts or fan if they need for maintenance. So they will know that you DONT need to and the shroud can be removed with the radiator staying in place if you
    needed to replace the fan,or fan clutch or fan support bearing.

    Truth, I'm able to replace belts w/o removing shroud or fan. Just maneuver it around the fan blades and BAAM done.beer.

    That’s getting up there, Aluminum and heat = head gasket,
    Your going to love this swap performance and looks sooo good,
    I won’t worry about the 170 stat, the engines not going to stay at that temp anyway. But that’s my opinion.
    191 is my highest temp so far
    Average is 186-188

    Doing this today. Is there any benefit in flushing the system prior to changing the radiator? I’m thinking the benefit of flushing out any debris that may be in the engine.

    Just a tip for you if u want, when you refill the radiator system,
    Fill the coolant first from the hose going into the top of the engine, bend the hose back turning it up at a 90 to 45 degress and fill it up.
    This way the water gets back in the block on the other side of the stat and then fill the radiator side. Less chance of overheating engine with no fluid in the block as the valve is closed till 180.
    Remember to burp the system as the top hoses for heater are higher than the top of the radiator.
    If you squeeze the top radiator hose hard and fast and hear sloshing coming from the heater
    inlet hoses by the fire wall then it still has air in the system.

    So rotate it 45 degrees upward so you can fill it with coolant, and to have it fill the block.

    Fox 2.0 Coilovers in the front and Fox 2.0’s in the rear, Total Chaos UCA’s, Al-lpro expo leafs, K&N cold air intake, TRD headers,Magnaflow catback exhaust,URD short throw shifter, switched out my 60/40 bench seat for some Tacoma Limited seats, Replaced the vinyl shift boot for a leather one, completely soundproofed the cab w/ Frost King. Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. MX series camper shell. All-Pro Apex front bumper w/ All-Pro skid plates all the way back to the Trans. Low Range fuel skid plate.
    Thanks for the tip! I’ll be make sure to do just that. I watched a couple of videos and no one mentioned that one :thumbsup:
