Just a shout out to anyone considering the remote start option for the 3rd Gen. 12 Volt Solutions setup for our trucks was easy to install and works like a champ. I recently added the module to use the APP and while I had a little trouble with the programming (I'm old) and they answered their chat line after hours on Facebook. Now I won't guarantee you'll get the same, but that was very nice to see in this automated world. Don't even think of using another kit, and it works on the H keys as well!

Just added the app module as well. Definitely worth it with how short the range is on the factory fob.

Pops into your existing remote start unit (12 volt solutions remote start) and that's it. You download the app and punch in the device serial number on the app and it finds it. It connects via a cellular network so in theory as long as you are in an area that gets reception it should work unlimited range.

Yeah, it's a super easy install. Just pull the panel off plug in, zip tie and put the panels back on.

Do you pay monthly fee for the module?

First year is free and 3 year plan of 60 bucks per the website. Pretty reasonable pricing.

Thanks! I was looking at remote starter and was thinking of taking it to Best Buy or somewhere to get a Viper because I didn't want to use my keyfob, range sucks on it :(
