So what’s better in your opinion? I will be eventually adding ARB front bumper with a winch. RTT on the bed plus camping gear. Debating on which lift setup to get. OME 887s with 5100s up front with Dakar heavy duty leaf pack with 5100s in the rear or! 886s up front with OME 90000s with Dakar heavy duty leaf pack with OME 60091s in the rear. I literally can’t decide. I’ve searched the forums and haven’t found anything to make up my mind.. please help lol

The 886s with 200 extra punds(bumper, winch) paired with ome shocks still only gets you 2.5 inches of lift

886’s with a full OME HD spring pack in the rear. I’m on 255 85 R16’s and i think it’s perfect. I went heavy springs right off the bat because I knew I’d be adding weight ride was stiff but not terrible by any means.

I have a 225lb Decked System in back now and a 225lb GoFastCamper On the way. If you’re planning on a heavy front bumper you NEED 886’s. That all said contact Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road and tell her what your plans are she will set you up right.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
I recommend 886 with all OME parts.

Run the OME in the rear, standard 5100s will be too short for Dakar’s. The nitrochargers are also short but OME did that on purpose so you won’t need longer brake lines, they will limit droop though if that’s a concern.

I’ve got ome 886 up NitroChargers an HD Dakar in the rear with ome shocks. I like the ride since I’m heavy but will try b110s longer rear shocks from bilstein next time around. The OME shocks are way thicker than the 5100s from what I’ve seen.

Thanks everyone for the replies, it helped me decide. I will be going full OME with 886s!

I think Headstrong sells a 5100 rear shock that is actually for an F150, it's got more travel than the OME. Instructions that came in the bilstein box said that they were some year range of 2WD ford, but obviously they fit fine.

Now some things can cross over however what we have are for the Tacomas. I have noticed that Bilstein has been sending some of the wrong installation instructions in the box so that is something I wanted to mention.
