Lol yeah. Then I’m left leaving the 65 sidewall. The 275 was only a option just to get the sidewall slightly larger.

I now carry tin snips so when I hear plastic rub I can cut it lol

    But cutting is fun

    20180401_145452.jpg
And if cutting can't solve a big hammer can

    20180318_134143.jpg

And plastic or thin sheet metal in the fender getting in the way? Ha tin snips solves that easily.

Or just get 17s and not have the issue...

isn't the point of having 18+ to show the wheel and not the tire side wall?

If you want a bigger sidewall shrink the wheel size . Increasing tire size for side wall means not fitting and rubbing issues.

I was going to repaint them but let's me real here it's surface rust and the steel used in skids will not rot out any faster than the trucks body and frame.

Isn't seen and it's just going to keep getting scratched figure why waste the money painting it every time it gets scratched.

I do it before the winter prior to getting the truck sprayed. Mine you this last winter I didn’t repaint since I was busy with the bed swap.

Did you go with bigger brakes or performance stock replacements?

    Then stay far away from anything wider or taller than 265 70 17, 265 65 18, 265 75 16.

Because anything wider or taller could mean needing to cut.

Honestly the size difference of a 275 and 265 won't even be noticable because it's pretty much a 1/2 difference in overall height. Unless you pull out a tape measure you won't notice. It's not like when you do 285 70 17 that it's actually noticeable in looks.

Only place you'll notice the 275 is in rubbing, mpg loss and shit you need to cut

Stock replacement. Ceramic pads. My ongoing issue..... I can't have the truck off the road more than a half day at a time. Everything I've done has been either in the afternoon or half day in the morning. I can't really wait for shit and repairs are often last minute.

When you park next to me it's noticable.

But it's true yesterday I was looking at a FJ on 275, and it was by Skye's neighbours taco on 265 . Couldn't tell

Or fuck it all and go 37x12.5x17 lol

Lol 37’s are a lot of work. I’m down to cut shit but having to relocate the fuse box and battery and possibly the abs module on my truck plus re weld the firewall and fenders. Lots of work. Plus you will be snapping steering components and what not. Even on 35’s I will be packing a lot of spares.

Edit: forgot about relocating the body mount....

Then you can ask if the lift is worth it.
My original thought process was to lift it to fit the tires
