So here’s what I did. Took longer than I thought but I think it came out good.

Looks pretty good man. What was the process for taping it out and cutting the vinyl?

A friend and I taped it out following the body lines with masking tape. Then used a tape made for vinyl called knifeless tape. I followed the masking tape with the cut tape. Removed the masking tape and the we payed the vinyl down. What a process. Took two of us about three hours.

And no slicing on the vehicle! I love the tape.l have a very light touch cutting vinyl and paint protection film but the cut tape works.

    Looks awesome!

That does look nice. Why did you remove your grill?? Better access? Looks like you scratched the grill there on the corner. Not trying to be a negative nellie or anything, just noticing.

I'd still have to use a high chair or stool to get up there and work on that. I can feel a sore back coming on.....

Was much easier to access that area without the grill. No scratches just the way the lights are hitting it. And yes sore backs from the stools and trying not to dent the hood when leaning on it. lol.

Another unintended plus to this is that it totally killed the glare coming from the scoop and hood. I didn't realize how bad it was till it was gone.

Very nice! What vinyl did you use (matte, satin)? Also, is that vinyl on the scoop, painted, or just the bare plastic finish?

Does anyone knows if the TRD PRO comes wrapped in vinyl or is painted black from factory?

    BTW - Great Job!!!
