When my truck is “finished” exterior wise I’ll do it. Much appreciated though.

That storm was wicked over here in leander I would have put money that my windows were going to blow out. My whole room was shaking for at least an hour. Some trees down an I was watching the lightning strike my block. Shit was intense. It was a rare occasion I felt actually unsafe.

P.s. is it Friday yet? My back is still super burnt an I no wanna worky

Followed a REALLY nice old 4Runner into work today. Lifted with bigger tires (look like 33s), roof rack and awning, tire gate, fuel can, the whole enchilada. Definitely a crawler. Gave the owner a TW card with notes for the TTC. Apparently being driven by the wife today because her Tundra was in the shop. She said her husband was having trouble with the low-speed transmission he put in it. I was like "what, you mean how it doesn't like highway driving because it's built as a crawler?"

Still, it's a nice rig and if anything I'll try to get it out to a CnC/TnT for proper indoctrination!

No worries- just keep me looped in. I'm going to go ahead and order parts I'll need to install it on my end.

Was pretty bad here on the Leander/G'town city limits. Our oldest Dal got 1 tab of Xanax, then another half, before she settled down.

The funniest thing was the wife getting up to reset the alarm clock, every time the power went out. The last time, she got up, pissed off, then started laughing. I asked her what was so funny, and she said it was exactly midnight, so the flashing "12:00" was spot on! Ha!

Nope, dark (green or gray, hard to tell in the dark). I'll stalk it from the windows and try to get a pic - driver is a contractor so it's parked in the back of the lot.

Anybody have an a/c shop they can recommend? Preferably south austin area. My a/c does fine when rolling down the road but seemed to struggle when at stop lights and traffic this passed weekend. Never been serviced in 163k miles so might just need a charge :fingerscrossed:

Lambs (formerly Goodyear) at Manchaca and Slaughter (enter from NB Slaughter, just past McDickheads). Lambs bought the place and kept most of the wrenchers. Place moves people through there at a constant pace, and have heard nothing but good things. Never been in there personally.

You may consider cleaning your condenser and radiator before taking it to a shop. Another thing could be thermostat and fan clutch.

Is there debris or other stuff in the condenser? Is the fan running? There's no air getting through the condenser so it's not cooling. If I still had my AC gauges I would definitely hook you up. Sorry:pout:
Back when I worked at the DPS auto shop we would always have Troopers come in saying their A/C wasn't working while they were sitting on the side of the road, check the condenser and it would be jam packed with grass, bugs and trash from them driving through medians. Quick blow out, good to go.
