Are you getting aftermarket rims or installing on your stock rims?

Could always buy the tires, see if they fit, and go from there. 265’s you should have no issue. 275’s are questionable. But hell @Joe23 had 285’s on no lift as his coil overs weren’t set for lift. He made it work.

If you plan to go offroad the lift helps but isn’t needed on some of the trails. Pick your line and go where you feel comfortable. Don’t need to drop loads of money for the odd trail ride or camping excursion. Hell could camp at ardbeg and ride with someone else to test the waters.

I have too much to prep. I don’t have my skids on, need to change the gear oil before I do that. Also need to wire lockers and compressor. Little stuff but need time to do it....

Better ride? Better approach and departure angle, looks?

Besides the 265 70 17 is technically bigger

And if you're not going to be wheeling hard it isn't needed besides looks
Mine was set to 1"lift and I couldn't fit I had to lift more to 2" and still have issues even with 3" won't solve as it's the width causing issues. I've just done as I did with my VWs, embrace the rub. If you ain't rubbing, you ain't Dubin

@Canadianguy91 seriously if you want to try come by and put one of my 285s on which are also 0mm offset with 4.5 backspace. The best chance for no body mount rub and you'll see how bad it can get.

You need 4.5 to clear control arm and once you move that far out you hit body mount.

And you'll see what I mean lift does nothing for fitting wider tire. Unless you're going 6"lift +
