Be easy on the new guy :) ; Pirate 1975 I'd be ready for another ride Mon or Tuesday...July 2nd or 3rd... As long as my Vacation plans stay intact.

That's what I've been doing this yr. is getting greenhorn's feet wet there. We won't get lost either because I think I have that place down pact for the most part.

I am definitely green... The most I have done is forest service roads in snow in the north east here (In a F*rd lol). This truck is more capable than I am right now... Definitely will keep in touch as the end of the month nears.

I was out there on the 2nd. Trails weren't too bad. Had a 2nd gen taco mostly stock go up the back side of Daniel with us and had no issues. Also had a stock 2nd gen 4runner make it up no problem.

255/85/16’s fit and don’t rub with the stock OR wheels...should you ever decide to step up to 33’s.

Ty...i went 265 75 16.... Does gearing change feel necessary at that size? I have 200 miles on a set of Cooper st maxxs... I will take that into consideration next round

Not really necessary to re-gear with 33's. I only did it because the opportunity presented itself and was cheap enough.

I thought that was from the keys to Wa. Either way if he actually does stay mostly offroad it should be fun. Think he'll probably need more than just a leveling kit.

Dutch hill climb isnt that bad, I think there are other parts of the trail that are far more sketch.

For the hill climb - Throw on MTS and lock the rear. Stay left and then right, avoid the wall and/or stopping.

I haven't truly used MTS or CRAWL control in any meaningful way... engaged to try...but in totally unnecessary area... I did use CRAWL to control a steep hill decent though... Pretty cool.
