I use Meguiar's Hot Shine Foam and wipe them down before it dries. Leaves them looking new without the shine.

I have good luck with some of the chemical guys products. Their waxes however just don't last for me. They seem to not bead up several washes in. Currently looking for a wax that lasts a long time.

What about the foam cannon they offer? Have you, or any one else tried it? I'm not sure if its worth the money.

Nope it’s a compound that’s an anti-ozonant. The process of turning brown as already mentioned is called blooming. Obviously different tires have different effects because of the different uses of compounds and percentages of them. Lots of products you can put on that will give your tires a clean appearance. Just stay away from the ones that make your tires shiny or give that full wet look all the time. Best way to use something like that is apply and leave on for a day, then wash off. It will keep the Black for a week or two before you need to reapply. There probably are some good products that are better to apply and won’t give you the full shiny appearance or the super wet look. Just play around with different ones. But for the most part expect to wash and scrub them every week or two to really keep that clean black look, regardless of products being applied

Good info. This is my third set of KOs, but my first set that turns brown. I don't care to scrub them every week or two, I just didn't want to do it every couple of days.

I personally wouldn't use any aerosols. They get on the wheels, then calipers, then on the pads. Depending on what it is it might be fine. But I wouldn't want pledge on my brake pads. Chemical guys makes a really nice foam applicator that comes in a two pack for like $4.

You won't get any overspray if applied correctly

Easy ..... Just a quick dusting over the tire is all that is needed , no need to over saturate the tire

Just like how it's applied in the video
