Official Star Wars BS Thread

So i picked up watching the animated Clone Wars series (and re-watched the animated Clone Wars movie too), I had only made it to Season 2 episode 11 when i stopped watching it a couple years ago. Man the series really picks up in season 3 and season 4! The animated series actually has a great story to it and ties together bits of the Star Wars universe i had only known pieces of up to this point! If you have the time i suggest anyone go and watch the series, i still have to finish season 5 and then the lost episodes and then start on Rebels.

 

That’s why I was real confused on the timeline of where Solo fit in. Know way Han was 30 years older than Luke but then it was explained to me about you know who and his robotic you know what and then it all made sense...sort of

I looked for them on Netflix and didn’t see it. Where are you watching?

 

Clone Wars are on Netflix, movie and the series, you can check out the 5 min episode series of Clone Wars on YouTube as one long episode it has some cool moments also...

 

Yea, I forget how much older he actually is supposed to be than Luke & Leia, but its not that much. I haven't seen the movie yet, hopefully going today, but that was one thing that looked odd to me how young he is in Solo, and he is suppose to be that much older by ep.4

 

I get the feeling they are trying to portray him at about 16-17 at the very beginning and roughly 20 in the film...so 10 years prior.

Agreed. It was fun with a good twist at the end. thought my 11 yo was going to lose his mind. He knew the hologram before he dropped the hood due to the voice. Crazy REBELS fan. Glad they are crossing over with the series...so much better than 7 and 8.

Star Wars was 4-6 anyway. The rest is just money grab.

 

I’m in the small population that enjoyed 7-8 lol but I also enjoyed Solo, for the most part. It’s just hard to get excited and buy in to the drama they portray when you know nothing bad can happen to the character. They build up suspenseful moments where things could go sideways but you know he’s around for the next 50 years so he’s obviously going to come out unscathed of whatever situation he’s in so for me, it lacked that emotion...

And as far as people losing it, I had a row of fan boys in front of me that were giggling like little girls the whole movie at various nods but they completely lost their shit at the end reveal. Like jumping out of their seat screaming. As long as they keep making Star Wars movies I’ll keep going just because the crowd is so entertaining

Yes, it's actually really good. As far as the new movies go Rogue One and Solo are 1 and 2 for me.
