Oh I tought you would remember I placed my resi in the same area just a little more over the frame. It’s a great location for sure. Unless you want a larger alternator :p

have pretty much the entire same front end. Tiny differences but most major parts are interchangeable.

:anonymous: I forgot haha I remember the alternator thing though haha

If you end up needing another leaf lemme know, I have a couple floating around that should pick you up. I'm always surprised with how tall mine looks unloaded vs with all the weight in...

It'll settle a bit....mine were at least another half inch higher immediately following the install...the weight of the truck will bring them down a tad. The install was definitely easier the 2nd go around...I ended up removing the leaf springs entirely to add the AALs.

awesome thanks for the offer! I'm really hoping I don't have to take my rear end apart again for at least another year, lol. I would have to get new center pins for sure if I add any more, probably new u-bolts too...if only to make @Sperrunner happy :p I might throw some weight back there tonight just to see how they handle it.

I assume the shield is designed to protect the wheel bearings? I get in mud more often than I like, and deep snow almost daily throughout the winter. Should I be concerned running it without the shield?

yes it is to help keep things out of the seals on the wheel bearings.

I don't drive mine daily..really hardly ever anymore it seems. But I have about 10-15k on them with no ill effects.

    Have had plenty of mud

Took it for a test drive and they dropped an inch. They are currently right where I want them. They are stiffer but not nearly as stiff as the ones on my 92 pickup. That thing jumps over speed bumps. Really happy with theses things as I was skeptical at first due to them only being $40 when most other places want $100. To install I did remove the entire leaf packs but it wasnt that bad honestly. Job took 4 hours on the nose. I am extremely glad I decided to fix my leaky air compressor and grab an AirCat Impact gun. It took every bolt out with ease. Now hopefully next week I can get my 880's in up front to level it out.

yeah I got an impact gun for my birthday a couple months ago, makes jobs like that 10x easier. How much front lift are you aiming for? I had 881s prior to my Kings and they only gave me about 1.5", little less maybe. I've got the v6 though.

4 cyl so 1.5-2" according to some other threads I looked at. I'll be fine with a small rake but the 2" rake it has now is a little much. I'm on 5100's and cheapo Moog coils right now so I can adjust as needed when I get my 880's on.

Im pretty sure Dan, Ben and Monte are secretly teenage girls. But they still post more than the average girl I went to highschool with. Which is fine, just funny.

I don't see Monte use his IG. I find that one to be the most egregous offender. Low quality pics for people to circlejerk each other over all while tagging people they don't like to rub it in. I have an IG just so Dan can link me, it has followers and everything... Not a single pic or piece of content. I only look on IG when the TW IG thing shows something that catches my eye.

IG used to be nice. Good photos. Now there's too many ads and too many users posting ads and pushing products by being sponsored.

    Annoying most the time.
