Getting my mind wrapped around the next job....buffing last Saturdays scratches out of both sides of the Tacoma. Couple of 'em are pretty deep.

At work early this morning. Gotta leave by noon. Our grand daughter graduates high school today. A year early, then she starts college (Berea, full scholarship) in just a few days. She's got it all worked out to graduate by 19. Got her head on straight and has a plan. This puts here WAY ahead of most kids these days.

Moron assistant manager trying to set alarm with a door still open. Alarm panel tells you which zone isnt ready to set. Too stupid to read I guess....

Someone started a thread about cleaning tires....can't find it.

Did find a really good tire cleaner. By accident.....

Anyone who knows me will tell you I keep my truck as clean as anyone.... My tires look almost new most of the time. Wheels however....tend to get discolored with brake dust. I was looking for a way to clean them. In the process I found the ultimate tire cleaner.

Meguiers Multi-purposeTire and Wheel Cleaner. Spray it on wheels and tires, wash it off, and watch the grime wash away. Tires now look BETTER than new.

I know some of you couldnt care less. Some of us like to keep things looking clean and new. This is for us OCD clean freaks.

Same here. And I select to NOT have my tires shined and then turn blue after wheeling in iron-rich clay mud. Which is everywhere we wheel.

I've used that before in the past, or another maker. Shit works good if you use it regularly. Don't let brake dust build up too much or that won't even clean wheels

I dont "shine" them. Pure natural CLEAN look. I think shiny looks stupid. On ANYTHING....

I wheel the same places. Dont have ratty looking wheels/tires.

    Btw, Bill...

Meant to snag one, but was busy at that moment and never went back out there. Noticed a couple rolls in the scrap dumpster. If they're there tomorrow, you want em for swingout if they aren't totally junk?

I go back "pre-armorall". They used to put brake fluid on tires to make em shine. One trip down a gravel road and you had limestone tires
