If anyone knows of a first gen DCSB camper shell white for sale hit me up. I’m scouring Craigslist, buy/sell/trade thread, let go, offer up, etc.. figured I’d drop something in here to further the search. Thanks.

Trust me; I'm super grateful, haha. Better now that I fix it before our big trip in 4 weeks. Gives me and excuse to redo a lot of the current front-end.. replace the OEM LCAs with a fresher set of OEM LCAs (probably get real bushings, too), replace billet tie rod ends, replace billet ICON UCAs with tubular steel (probably TC), rebuild coilovers with new springs.

Interesting. I haven't heard that before.

The springs that snapped and with how much preload I have are 800lb spring rate, 16" length, 3" ID. I'm thinking of going to 700lb spring rate, 18" length, 3" ID for the softer ride and lesser preload.

Your springs show signs of coil bind. You should take that into account when getting new coils...

Are you thinking the white residue at the contact points between each rung?

It's probably what he trying to say. I just figured it was just from washing the truck. Little hard to tell from the pic

    I know Evan's tire does a 3 year plan for <$200.
Since you travel Vista to El Cajon often, I'd look for a place that has locations in both cities.

Other recommendation is True line in El Cajon since the deal with lifted trucks often. But no Lifetime alignment

I was referred to Roger Daniels in Santee from @sdsurfer and that’s where I took the truck couple a year ag but they don’t have a Lifetime plan.

Santee? I talked to them a couple of months ago and they still had it. But they told me if it’s a big lift take it to El Cajon cause they’re better equipped.

I’ve visited Mira Mar, El Cajon (off 2nd st.), and Santee and they have all worked on my truck. Maybe it was a misunderstanding? I just went to a Santee 2 weeks ago.
