Got diesel springs on finally, raised it an inch or so. Still 1” of rake. Perfect for me

Bumper is done, no winch. Only weighs 38lbs so im happy with that.

Got it aligned today and everything so i can bash it up this weekend.

Turned out okay, its small enough and subtle to not stand out much.
But i got rushed at the end and wanted it done, lost some creativity and could only go so far with a chop saw and angle grinder.

I had a tenant in this converted house who used to park on the street and obstruct the driveway all the time with about two feet of their front end because they were too lazy to open their garage door to park inside (mid sized black Kia) Safe to say, after repeated warnings one dark snowy morning I decided to teach them a lesson backed and right up on top of their front end. Obliterated the front end. They tried to blame me but asked them to show me the damage on my truck. LOL

I'm getting an air horn after reading this. One from an old Terex off road rock truck that sounds like a freight train.

Spoke with a guy from jd tire yesterday. He said between the 2, the 275 had the better chance of working. Might just mean I’ll have to rule the other one out.
Not that i want the 275 for the width. only came a option to increase sidewall if I had to stay at 65%

    Ah decisions decisions.
Good news is that other then tires I have the other stuff ready to be ordered.

I haven’t been following much, unless yoy like the 275 for the width.
Why aren’t you doing 255/80r17 tires on the stock wheels. Then doing a simple lift aal with 5100 and ome springs on 5100.

I agree with @Ttaco15, them 255/80/17's are schaweeeeeeeet. The look has grown on me and I love the way my truck looks now with them on.

'Mom it looks like my toy truck' is what I heard a kid say to his mom about my truck.

I think it looks like a big toy as well, I love it :cookiemonster:

    :bananadance:

Removed this thing last night cuz I know @Joe23 loves them. I have never used it and I think it was causing the front end sag @Norilsk mentioned a few weeks ago. Hopefully removing it corrected the problem

Is your Jeep buddy coming to pick up the parts this weekend or till the next time? You seemed to starting need that front tow bar as you find harder trails :boink:

I'm guessing these guys know nothing about why they don't fit a Tacoma.

But if you put the 285 on and it's only 5mm causing an issue on the width then the 275 would fit

    Very disappointing

I wanted 16s as well but if I upgrade brakes no good. And there were more tire options for 17s

He wont know until tomorrow or Thursday if we are going, I will let you know the moment I find out!

I need to slow down on the hard trail grinds, I have unlimited hard trails to ride, but if I break my truck I will regret it.
