    well after long hours of searching today ive finally found the perfect truck for me a 2000 toyota tacoma v6 trd 4x4 automatic she has 132k miles and i paid 7k. ladies and fella's id love to know your opinion on the deal i got and on the truck. Maybe tell me some things i can do to it because i am completely new to the compact offroad scene

    Great truck man and a great price. hard to find a nice tacoma for that price. you mentioned somethings to do to it. first of all i would put a deckplate mod on it. gives you about 7-8 horsepower and only cost a few bucks. just look up deckplate mod on here. have fun driven your truck.

    If you dont want it then you just screw the plate back in and its a regular air box again

    yeah with a deckplate mod you have the best of both worlds. you got a stock air box when needed and you got a cold air intake when needed. most of the 1st gen guys have a deckplate mod on there trucks and all them love them. im about to put one in mine as soon as i get the time.
