anybody use a fit bit? I've been watching my girlfriend use one since we've been dating and am probably going to get one. She gets a cool discount through Boeing.

I mainly want it for the sleep monitoring to see how much and what quality sleep I'm getting. I think it will also help having something on my wrist basically tell me "get up fat ass" lol

 

snugtop's are sweet too. get it!

 

with her discount I'm getting the Fitbit Versa for 100$.

 

how much would you want for it?

 

yeah I'm going to go with the versa but may let me girlfriend know you've got the Charge 2 for half. she is still working with the Blaze that they discontinued.

 

We've been trying to fill up one of those for like 6 years. We aren't even half way yet. Maybe a quarter of the way.....maybe

This thread really does suck when you step back and look at the conversations..................and the copious amount of the use of the word dick!

I had one for about 3 years and wife got me a smart watch that does none of the health stuff a fitbit does....cool payoff, right?

 

Looked to be in good shape except a little place on corner but over all good.

My wife loves her Fitbit Charge 2 for its function, but wants something "prettier". It was a big motivational tool for her when she got it and continues to motivate her a couple years later.

I have the Apple Watch and it is interesting to compare distances with something that is estimated through steps (her fitbit) vs something that tracks via GPS (my apple watch). Fitbit is usually off by about 0.1 ish miles for every mile that we walk/run.

 

My wife has had 2 fit bits and from her experience they never seemed to work right. She now has a Garmin VivoSmart and loves it. I don't think any of them are 100% accurate though. I had one of the original fit bits and just never seemed to get into it.

 

All this talk about fit bits makes me want a steak sandwich. I think I'll have one for lunch.

 

Where are you finding a steak sandwich?

 

Firehouse actually makes a decent one.

 

The closest firehouse to me makes soggy runny sandwiches that resemble something soaked in a 5 gallon bucket of milk before handing it to the customer.

 

Lol. I like the steak sandwich from them, not the best, but the best I've found locally. I've tried a couple of the "Philly" places and none of them were even decent.

Speaking of sandwiches, any suggestions for a deli type?
