    are you using these ones now? I like how you got the sides and blinker yellow (not happy with my faded yellow on mine), what did you do for that? I'm thinking about doing this mod to my headlights (of course keeping the blinkers and sides functional).

    Just wondering if anybody on here knows if the cops will be bothering me here in Canada if i do this Mod?

    i think im actually going to try this..im super scared but everyone keeps saying its not that bad.
    hex screws..as in alen wrench screw or is that totally different?
    is it the same screw holding the third brake light in? like star pattern?
    if so i dont have a tool for that

    the foam at the top of the light, remove it?...how to reattach?
    when you remove the headlight adjust screw will it mess up the aim?

    It's not that bad... I did mine. Just took alot longer than some of the other guys.

    You need a "star" screw driver - only a few bucks at lowes
    Leave the foam alone. I had my lights in the oven 4 times :eek: and no damage
    You just remove the lights and leave the adjustor's alone.

    No, it won't melt through. All I took off was the light bulbs and rubber around the lights and over the adjusters. You have the oven OFF and only leave it in there long enough to soften the sealant.

    ok so after searching a while I couldn't find the candy yellow tint which I'm a bit saddened by, anyone know where to get it? hopefully in a small sheet or something?

    so is the glass tinted yellow or the inner part? i plan on removing the glass and spray krylon stain glass yellow on the reflector. and leave the glass off along with the amber reflector

    i need some help big time! so it started with the first head light i pretty much destroyed it trying to separate it and the slots where all the silicone is, well the plastic housing around that is bent like crazy! i really wanted to do this but i sucked completely at attempting it! the second headlight was like a charm (i guess you have to mess up to learn!) the main issue is i cannot for the life of me get the now black housing back into the frame of the headlight!!! please help!:(:confused:
