I’d say fan... particularly if it’s got a thermal switch.

I'd be okay with that. I don't have to fix it then.

What would cause the clunk with an attic fan though?

Turning on and off? Ever notice it more so in the spring/fall and not so much in summer and winter? It might be at the right temp to be kicking on and off today.

I think I always hear it. It almost sounds like someone is closing a door up there.

Hunter is pretty creepy it could be him. Have you seen him anywhere lately. He usually clings to the last person he made contact with

If the bearings are sloppy the clunk could come from when the thermostat is having the fan come on. Enough slop could definitely make a clunking sound once the vibrations get into the wood framing.

Or you have really big squirrels living up there.

He def isn’t clinging to me. He sat next to me once until he realized it was me. Then bounced.

I’d imagine that would be easy enough to check by jiggling the fan, right?

Only fab shop doing Tacoma stuff that I know of anywhere near us is Mobtown.

Last I knew, the don’t make racks. Only bed bars.

Maybe they can do custom stuff? I don’t know.

    What’re you looking for?
