Anyone use Akebono brake pads? I’m about to run through some ebc yellows soon after 20k Miles, and was shopping around for a better than oem pad.

Second question is do I resurface or slap new pads in..... no vibes currently

You must drive like an asshole. You should get at least 165k out of a set of pads.

Hey guys awhile ago I posted in here about moving to the Denver Metro and finally got out here, still getting set up but was wondering if anyone could recommend which Toyota dealer to use my gf is in the market for a new or slightly used 4runner. I know they sell like hot cakes so dealers aren't giving to many incentives but looking to atleast get a some off MSRP and not work with a sleezeball. We are willing to go to CO springs or up to Fort Collins if it's worth it aswell.

Used HM Brown (Car broker) last time and no dealership could touch their pricing.

Hmmm I've actually been running OEM style ceramic pads and don't see any reason to spend more on premiums, especially given the short life

I have not heard of that brand. EBC has been known to be soft and wear a bit quicker. I have StopTech HD pads on now and like them so far. We will see how long they last on slotted rotors which eat pad faster.

Its advised to turn the rotors to get the best contact surface between pad and rotor. I know a number of peeps on here just add new pads and don't seem to have an issue.
This sounds familiar.... not sure why? :p

I have worked from home since 2007. You get used to it and never want to go back.
