    In the Fords defense, Its not meant for hauling a large load. To get longer travel, you give up load capacity.

    our school's soccer coach bought one of these. i guess because he dosent have any kids he can afford to get a $50,000 truck. thats up to him but i do like the idea of the company building a lifted model of the truck as "stock"

    very true chris... on the other hand, you're going to suck up your payload very fast if you toss a couple spare tires, a jack, tools and some spare parts in there if you actually want to use it for some desert running. that's not including some friends in the back seat.

    I think thats why ford made it a access cab now, to keep the amount of people down.
