gonna run you even more than 42K. here's a picture of the pricetag of the one i posted a picture of the rear suspension of earlier....it has the smaller engine and only standard options.

This post made me think of the new 4Runner marketing video where they beat the hell out of it off-road.

 

They should put a TRD Off Road 4x4 up against it...I'm sure their wouldn't be much of a difference in performance

Yea so with 2 200 pound people you get about 500 pounds of payload

 

our school's soccer coach bought one of these. i guess because he dosent have any kids he can afford to get a $50,000 truck. thats up to him but i do like the idea of the company building a lifted model of the truck as "stock"

 

very true chris... on the other hand, you're going to suck up your payload very fast if you toss a couple spare tires, a jack, tools and some spare parts in there if you actually want to use it for some desert running. that's not including some friends in the back seat.

 

I think thats why ford made it a access cab now, to keep the amount of people down.
