Another install party at CCC shop? This will be the first time wheeling my rig at HF gonna have to take it easy.

 

This will be after your CO trip? If so, I’d bet you take it less easy than you would if you didn’t go to CO.

Wheeling out in the western states will give you lots of confidence! Plus you have built up your truck to handle more stuff. I can’t wait to see that sucker on the trails bouncing off rocks!

 

It’s almosy there I need to get a winch but I’m super excited to get her in action.

I'm super proud of how far I've seen you guys coming with your willingness to try things. Definitely a significant difference since I met you guys about a year or so ago.

It's an ever evolving feeling of confidence in both yourself and your vehicle that gets you down the trails. Sometimes when you dont have that confidence then trust in your spotters and friends that they can see/know you can make it and will get you through.

 

Replace the A/C compressor, I drove it to Dallas as couple of weeks ago and about up. Have to take the entire front end apart just to get to the compressor . Also gonna do some cleaning/detailing of the engine bay while its all apart.

 

Meh just lifted truck higher.

 

He meant on the frame. I was going to suggest better jack stands...

The skids have gotten a workout this year! Thank goodness for them too! It’s really not as bad as it sounds lol

Word!!! This is well said! And I totally agree. It’s a process of building confidence in yourself, your truck and your squad/spotters.

 

Well worth it to get rid of the Detroit. Rear structure off of a 4bt out of a step van and the TH400 in the HMMWV will bolt up to the 6bt. You can do a lot with Cummins and GM parts they have been used together for decades. You just have to do some research and leg work. Your 10k investment would gain a lot more going Cummins. $0.02

Should have bumpers by next jambo si hopefully I got some good spotters because I'll be attempting dewoody... on 33s qnd open front diff time to see what this lobster can do! I've gotten very confident behind the wheel as time has gone on.

 

I'm not sure if that's confidence or suicide but I'll support you giving it hell.
