So much stupid on the internet today here are some highlights

In a mom group someone asking for advice on if they should take their 2 yo to the ER because they put a suction cup toy on their skin and now they have a hickey like mark

In a ADHD parent support group someone is looking for a prescription drug that will make their kid more compliant they are looking for "something like ecstasy but without the hallucinogens"

Tweet about a mom who stopped giving her child their asthma meds and started essential oils because she read an article that they would cure asthma and her child passed away.

I loved the PNW especially the ocean and the mountains but affordable land options are not an option in western Washington at least.

 

IL-AZ-CA-AZ. Been in AZ for nearly 3/4 of my life, Might as well be a native.

 

Swam yesterday swimming today. The wife and I are from Miami Florida. If I was still there I would definitely have a boat and would be out on the water every other weekend. Miss the ocean miss the asses in thongs .

 

PA for 32 years and now AZ for 1 and change.

I’m hoping for a monsoon season like natives are talking about, I think the one thing that is driving me nutty is the lack of rainy days. Even though it could send my joints into a new dimension I do love the sound of thunderstorms and rain.

 

I think it was 2 years ago we got a monsoon that lasted 3 days. Non-stop rain. The parks were flooded and people were taking their boats/jet skis out and riding in the flooded parks. One park by my house the basketball hoop was under water.

We need that again.

I remember that every few days, it would monsoon so bad the I-17 would flood. You could easily sit there for 10+ mins waiting on the pumps to kick on and clear the road.

AT last.... that was 20+ years ago.

Really like Utah and would love to visit MT and WY in the near future. AZ is a competition shooting mecca so it will be very hard to leave. No interest in going back east.
