I know there are plenty of threads discussing this but I see that it will rub... It won't rub.. have to cut.. won't have to cut... So maybe I can get a few straight answers? Haha

So my plan is to do a 3 inch lift (Icon Stage four +/- to make it level) I was thinking of going with FN FX Pro wheels and a 285/70/17 Toyo AT's or the Falken AT's.

Again I wanna avoid rubbing and cutting back if possible but if it has to be done... I guess I can. But really don't want to.

Oh and I'm kinda new to the game so excuse any of my ignorance

Slap the 285’s on and get an alignment. If you rub you may need to trim or remove your mud flaps. Potentially you could rub on the body mount.

If you’re not comfortable doing it yourself find a reputable shop and get a cab mount chop. It’s really not a big deal and if done correctly nobody will ever notice.

If your going for 285's, plan for it to rub. You may get lucky though.

Or do the Pizza cutters which everyone says they don't rub. 255/80 16 or 255/85 16.

Pizza cutters aren't guaranteed to not rub though with wheels that have different specs than stock.
