Tailgate Inset Vinyl Lettering

Forgive me if this is in a post somewhere...I did a few searches, didn't find anything helpful. I've been looking at these vinyl raised letter inserts for the tailgate:

Almost all of the reviews are 5 star. The bad reviews center around them peeling off after a few weeks. Anyone on here have any experience with them?

They stay on, never heard of them pealing off unless they didn't clean their tailgate.

You can get them on eBay for about $5 a set now, they're cheap. Get two sets in case you screw up install.

 

i have a set i've never installed. if you want them i'll send to you for free. just because i like your avatar.

 

I have had these same ones on for over a year now. No issues. I like these better than the vinyl becasue they are raised and nice 3D look.

 

Decals like those are one of the first things I did to mine.

Are yours raised?

 

No, vinyl decals are not raised letters. No sure why some people refer to the raised letters as decals.

I'm interested in the raised letters...I ended up ordering them from Tukskinz this morning. I'll post some pics once I get them installed.

 

I have these, and they've been on the truck for two months now without issue. Clean thoroughly with alcohol before application to remove the wax etc. The raised look is a nice touch in my opinion.

 

Mine are a year old. I put wax on them each time I wax the truck.

 

I have vinyl ones, I washed the truck, then cleaned with vinegar and alcohol. Decals have been on for about 19 months and still going strong.

 

Got the letters yesterday from TufSkinz...love 'em! So easy to install.
