ProComp Stage 2???

a friend of mines told me that ProComp redesigned the kit from the 2007 catalog to the 2008 catalog...the steering knuckle and drop bracket for the strut bar allowing you to run up to 5" back spacing for wheels. is this true? if so those who are running 5" backspaced rims can you please post pics up for me to see...

I did some research and could only find this on procomps tire/wheel fitment guide:

05-07 6" Toyota Tacoma 4WD / Prerunner 2WD 35x12.50 17-20 8-9 4 4.65
05-07 6" Toyota Tacoma 4WD / Prerunner 2WD 33x12.50 17-20 8-9 4 4.65

both 2007 and 2008 catalog seems to show the same maximum backspacing at 4.65"...but someone was telling me that they are running 5" back spacing on their 17x9 rims...I will be calling procomp on monday to confirm either way...I was just hoping 1 of the guys in here could help me with this info...

there still having some issues with the way they have the sway bar mounted. it seems that the swaybar end links hit the bottom of the coilovers on "some" tacoms. as far as 5" backspace i dono. im running 4.5 on 17x9 and the steering knuckles are close to the rim.

 

i've seen 3 procomp stage 2's here in las vegas with 4.5" backspacing and they each have about 2-3 inches of space between the rim and the steering knuckle...
