Has anybody "satoshi" the lower grille?

    Hey just ordered a grillecraft grille and plan on doing satoshi but I realized it's two pieces it comes with the lower grille too!

    So has anyone taken off there bumper and satoshi 'ed it? Thanks guys!

    Someone did it before. I cant remember who. It looked really good, but involved him to take off his bumper for about a week. Do a search and post up the link for everyone else.

    yes i removed the bumper...

    I only had my bumper off my truck for 2 days...the bumper is a lot easier to recess then the grill is...

    no its not there are only like 10 plastic tabs that you remove(5 are on the top bumper under the grill and the other 5 are on the bottom of the bumper)...6 bolts 3 on either side of the bumper (4 of those are in the fender well 2 on either side)...

    another thing is there are 2 plastic tabs that hold the bumper in just under the headlights...to remove these tabs they are permanently on the bumper so you have to push the bumpers in by the fender and lift up...be careful if you pull to hard these tabs will break...you can put the bumper back without these tabs cause they are more like security tabs than anything...

    its not hard just take your time...

    i put some mesh behind mine, and cut out a few peices for the license plate. good enough for me and the 20 minutes it took
