Also, check the OVtune Manual thread. There are a lot complaints about the throttle response. I didn't realize how bad it was until I actually drove and purchased a Sienna.

I thought all the complaints about drive-ability were stupid because the Tacoma performed to my satisfaction. I see the difference now, and I definitely understand the complaints.

No you weren't wrong. The Tacoma is what it is. A truck with it's own personality and quirks. Seriously, it is what it is. If you like it fine. If not, get something else. Simple.

 

It wasn't a desperate cry for attention. I only attract negative attention on this site, and I don't want negative attention.

I thought it would be a funny title. I guess it wasn't. Oh well.

It's not just this forum. In every forum I post at, I get pages and pages of negative hate messages. I don't intend for this stuff to happen. I don't really understand what I do.

I thought when I first drove my truck I noticed that initially throttle-by-wire timing delay and thought WTF. Then I took it on a trail and used low range. It made sense what they were trying to do.

Whether it solves anything or is even really necessary is a different complaint.

 

Look man. I'll just won't come here anymore, or you can just ban from the whole forum. Appreciate the opportunity to sell items on the forum.

People don't like me in the real world and they don't like me in the online world. I thought I could be a part of this community, but just like every other forum, people just seem not to like me.

This place is sometimes a shit show. Why? The 3rd gen forum is "unique" in the fact that so many people from so many walks of life post here. Some are mean, some are nice, some are knowledgeable and some don't know anything. When you get a group that is this diverse, you are bound to get some yahoos that just like to be mean for no reason. There is also a lot of joking and teasing. There is also a lot of hurt feelings because people don't know how to take joking around.
@jberry813 just means that other forums here are a lot more laid back because the people have owned their trucks for awhile and the assholes have since moved on... to the 3rd gen section lol. Don't let it get to you man. Enjoy the truck!
