I saw that a couple weeks ago. Saturday I have crap all day, but Sunday I can try to sneak away for a bit.

pulling the trigger (had to keep up the gun theme) on a OME bp-51 kit from headstrong. Think im going to get the HD leaf pack even tho i dont have any additional armor or bumpers at this time. Mixed reviews on ride quality, some say its poor with no weight, but I imagine it should still ride better than stock. Cant wait! HAPPY MONDAY

@kceastsparks might sell you his Dakar's if you're looking. Heard he's switching to Deavers. The Dakar 096R pack is certainly pretty stiff without weight BTW.

Thanks for the heads up. Yeah probably no extra weight this year (cept towing the lil camper every weekend). Ill play it safe and go for the regular pack and when i cross the big boy weight bridge i can add some leafs.

The heavy duty kit is definitely stiff with no weight, and the BP51 setup was decent for mild stuff. Trying to adjust the compression and rebound is a pain in the ass though. And the shock guard on the rears is super tough to seat at first. If you need help with the install just let me know!

And I might already have a buyer for my HD pack but if it falls through and you’re interested still you can just pull the AAL to make it medium duty.

I'd recommended getting the HD pack and removing a leaf, as Kyle suggested.

That way you are set when you start adding weight.

Is it difficult taking the leaf out? Guess itd be easier to go with HD and remove a leaf than installing everything and taking it all off later

You can also get OME with free shipping from Summit Racing here in town. But it's a drop shipment from ARB. Some stuff takes longer than others to arrive. The price is nice though.

so since we are on the subject of suspension....the urethane bushings in my uca's are squeaking like nobody's business....anyone have any ideas how to make them shut up besides spraying lube on them all the time?

yeah, when I installed them, I used that stuff. I was hoping I wouldn't have to take them off and relube them. Starting to look like that is my only option....ugh.
