Really? You know, sometimes being a friend is a bit of an inconvenience. Be glad you have friends. You might want to inconvenience them someday.

but anyway dude. It's just a nail. Carry a cheap plug kit, a pair of knockoff vise grips, and a cheap 12V compressor and you are only off the road for half an hour at most and can choose at your leisure to do a "better" fix.

Other than driving through active construction sights, there really aren't a whole lot of places that have a large amount of nails or screws laying around. What else is there to avoid?

This is the equivalent of "spilled milk". Why beat yourself up over it?

Some tires are just like magnets, I just had one that picked up 2 nails. This tire now has had 3 bail holes fixed.

It seems to change as we get older, too. As a 20 year old I'd never have considered dating somebody who was 10 years older than me, but now that I'm in my mid 30's 10 years doesn't seem like a big deal.

I love how it went from nail in the tire to nailing older chicks. Gotta love Tacomaworld.

It can be, but that's just dumb luck.

My wife's Rav4 tripped the TPMS light a few weeks ago and it read 29.5PSI on the left rear. I inflated it back to 37 and thought nothing of it as I couldn't see anything in the tire.

2 weeks later, almost to the day..tripped it again, same tire so I bring it to the shop. They found a nail in an inside section, but it sealed reasonably well and wasn't getting worked in further. Took them a few days to get the tires plus we were going out of state, and again 2 weeks to the day almost the light tripped. Go figure.
