I had this great idea to make replacement 4X4 stickers for mud-flaps but of course I found someone selling them on e-bay.
Obviously it's the muffler side that tends to get the most damage but it didn't occur to me to take before and after pics till after I installed that side.
These stickers don't line up perfectly but I think they're close enough. The sticker itself is very good reflective quality (reminds me of the reflective tape on street signs).
I botched one during install so I was driving around with one missing for a week until they sent me another one and I could see a huge different at night between the sticker and the original paint.
It's hard to see in the night pic but they do reflect nicely... For the price, I recommend buying a couple of sets because once you place it there's no re-setting it.

I had the same problem where I cleared the cab mount but not the hammered/cut pinch weld with ~2 degree of caster. More caster + hammer solved that. Id def try and get that taken care of, the pinch weld can chew a tire up much quicker than the cab mount...

That's funny, I was just thinking about making some the other day, not necessarily for refreshing the OEM flaps, but for adding to a set of shorter flaps to retain that OEM look.

What are you doing that you haven't ripped the mudflaps off your truck yet?

Was really wanting 285s so bad lol but hearing you guys having to cut it to shit makes me nervous lol. I have 265s now didnt have to trim but had to take mudflaps off. Would a 3" lift clear 285s? Or still have to trim?

I've had these on mine for over a year and they still look great. Even the muffler side.

Damn I guess that's out of question then I figured after a 3" lift I wouldn't have to trim much. Which I'm fine trimming some of the fender but dont want to do more than that

Out with the spacer lift and in with the 5100's thanks to @Jerneyman! Lost 1 inch of lift though, any suggestions to make up for it? IMG_0867.jpgIMG_0868.jpg

I used two u shaped bolts(not a technical term)around the cross bats and washers with bolts on the inside. I don’t know how water proof it is yet!

use some silicone from the bottom side and a little from inside the case. you should be good to go.

RTV is also a good alternative.

A few mods here and there and counting....
Swapped the tires(Dynapro ATM 265/75r16) over to the new 16in level 8 mk6 ET0 and couldn't be happier. Offset is perfect and aggressive looking. Rubs slightly on full lock in both directions so the front flaps will be either trimmed/removed later this week.
