Not as bad as I thought it was gonna be. Anyone have any experience with work over rigs?

All the guys who drive tugs and ferrys in the bay goto that school to get re certified because they have all the simulators there. I met a old harbor master once and he was telling me about it

I don't know, but college is a time to step out of your comfort zone. My sister lived in SF for three years before she finally lost it and GTFO, She said it was hopeless to keep a nice car and got tired of sitting in traffic.

I live rigt across the bay and I refuse to go out there unless i have to are my friends really want to go out there and even then i dont take my truck. SF is just not a fun place to drive in at all and the people there are pretty bad.

I went with a group once and the vehicle we took got broken into and one person in our group stepped in human shit. Way too damn big to be a dog turd. IMO Dirty Harry didn't clean this place up enough.

Just went for a rare daytime drive in the truck. It's happy with boost right now for some strange reason. 112° out and now it acts like it should.

Weird, I can tell mine hates the heat....heat + AC is a recipe for ping-city if I'm not careful with how I drive. Although lately my truck has been acting better than ever as far as that goes...I'm convinced those back to back bottles of Seafoam I burned through my gas tank in a little over a day did something to help.

I have no idea what this things major malfunction is. 112°, AC blasting (enough to make me very chilly), stereo bumping and it was just a boosted dream today. I wasn't even running 100octane today, just 91. I had one pull that was magic, 4th gear 45mph nailed the throttle held 17+ degrees of advance all the way up to 80mph, pulled hard. If I can get the meth to do that everytime I might become a meth dealer.

That’s a CSU? Huh. It’s small as hell, only about 1,000 people. Man my high school was bigger. Huh.

Might just get my General Ed done there and go somewhere else. My first choice was Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, but I didn’t get in.

Not all ping is predet though, detonation that doesn't occur at the location of the typical flamefront (sparkplug outward) is also ping and no bueno all though less no bueno than predet

It’s a great school. But it’s also an engineering school, which I’m applying for which is super competitive.

I was thinking about going into the Air Force as a mechanic or for communications for a while as Plan B, but ultimately decided against it. I live in the Silicon Valley and if I want to stay here I need a degree that will allow me to work here and live comfortably.

I’m gonna have to ride with someone some day and have them say, “that’s what ping is” when it happens.
