Do you guys cross rotated your tires? I only went front to back last time and this time I was wondering if I should go front left to right rear.

Typical rotation is bring the rears up to the front keeping them on the same side and take fronts to rear but swap sides.

I do it the same, but opposite...
Front's straight back, rears to opposite sides in the front.

We're headed to Lake Davis, CA Thursday morning with some friends for a long weekend of camping & boating (so Buddy can go swimming) fun.

I just started doing 5 wheel rotations and alternating which front corner the spare goes

It's going to spend a lot of it's time getting chased by a dog.
I did decide to get a license to fish while I'm there.

I usually rotate the spare in with the new tires. That way I don't have to buy that extra tire.

Lift purchased and shipping this week, next some tires. I really like the look of the "tall n skinny" 255/85/16 and seen a few threads on pros and cons - thats nice and all but anyone local here run this size that can vouch for performance in our different conditions?

I run tall and skinny on both of my trucks. Love them. Even on my duramax I’ve found better off-road performance than a wider tire with exception in mud, I thought I would perform better but the truck might is probably too heavy for a pizza cutter. It is a little more squirrely on the road too but overall glad I made the switch.

Better on mileage too. Not sure there is a 255/85/16 though. Typically it is 255/80/16 or 255/85/17

My next tire on the taco will probably be a 35x11.5 or there abouts.
