Hump day almost over for me
1 more then 2 off. That means I’m working Sat. night and Sun night.

 

An old friend,who passed on 10 years ago, was 1st wave at Omaha.
I was the first person he told, and that was on the 50th anniversary.
He was a master boat builder and gun maker.
Because he liked boats, he ended up piloting the outboard powered boats across the Rhine.

We're looking for 103 and a touch of clouds. Yesterday it was 104. I just chcked the 7 day guess and it's starting to settle down in the 105-110 range. No rain. While I was working on the brush bunks yesterday I had to step into the storage container we just insulated and put the ac unit in. That's going to work pretty well. Not cold enough to hang meat in but in, the time it took to grab a new cut-off wheel out of the tool box drawer, I could really feel the difference. I've got an extra case of water in there that was little cooler than what a lot of you would call "room temperature".
