After watching the last two game one has to ask if Nabby is near sighted. Lets go Sharks!!!!!

 

Chicago's checking line(s) smothered the Shark's scorers just as they did to Vancouver's scoring lines . They definitely have that part of their game perfected . Tonight the Shark's looked as though they really had no answers , and I was suprised that McLellan kept the Thornton , Heatley , Marleau line together until it was too late , it seemed pretty obvious that Chicago was able to check that line , and I was suprised he didn't try to spread them out to get away from Bolland and company .

 

I agree. I've been a Hurricanes fan for years, I went to a ton of their games when I lived there. Plus they have had some good seasons, and they do a lot of cool stuff for the fans. Paul Maurice?? Again?? WTF?? But I also root for teams because of certain players, usually ex-Canes. I am on the fence about the West, the Sharks have Nic Wallin but Chicago has Andrew Ladd. In the East I'm 100% Flyers. They have Leighton (shades of Cam Ward '06) and coach Laviolette. But I can't stand Chris Pronger. I just plain dislike the Habs almost as much as I hate the Red Wings.

 

Why don't you like Pronger? Just curious.

 

Yeah but statistically Hawks were 7-0 (or 7-1) on the road, but only 3-3 at home.

 

Well if they are 50% at home , that means they will be heading back to San Jose for game 5 up 3-1 .

Well the optimistic will hope that they take both in Chicago but 3-1 will bring some hope. As much as I would hate to say it I think they are done. Now to be 100% for my Gigantes!

Yeah well that's just statistics and I found out that teams that start this series 0-2 have a 12% chance in winning so there is some hope for you .

2006 finals the networks made him the face of the Oilers. And all the press made like he was the savior of the franchise. His general attitude was distasteful in my opinion. I don't know, he just rubbed me the wrong way.

 

Unfortunately I haven't been able to keep tabs this year. Didn't pay much attention to Philly until the playoffs. And even then catching the games has been hard. Am I being unfair to the guy? maybe I hate that I haven't been able to follow hockey much this year. I will say that when he is giving Holmstrom a ration of shit in front of the crease, I do enjoy that.

As much as I hate them for what they continually do to my Canucks , congrats to the Hawks for the Western Conference win , they definitely were better than the Sharks by a large margin in all areas .

A sweep of the Sharks will probably force a wholesale line up change in San Jose for next season .
