    Loud as hell URD exhaust!
People that walk directly behind you at work. You can hear them getting closer and closer to you. I had this guy pacing me since the parking lot arriving to work. When I got to the main door to scan my badge I took a back swing with my elbow.

His face had a wtf look as I grazed his chin. He asked what my problem was. I told him you just never know who is walking up on you. He went his way and I havent seen him since.

On the flip side as I was leaving today I was behind a guy with a limp so obviously his pace was slower than mine. I kept my distance for a few feet then as we were rounding a corner I said “Hi there” made some comment about the weather. That little hello paused him enough for me to get by him respectfully without making him feel like I was trying to run him over.

I outpace people 9 times out of 10, especially at work, I have a pretty high paced job. If I get stuck behind you I'll keep my distance, but the second I get an opportunity I'm going right around. Especially people who walk with no direction, ugh. I only felt in place with my stride visiting New York City haha.

I hate it when people walk real closely behind you though, for some reason people always step on the back of my shoes. I don't know why it bothers me so much but oh lawdy.

Not cocky at all. I'm in my 40s and the scaling thing used to gall me in high school and college. It doesn't reward the hardest working individuals much if at all, almost makes more sense to not put in the time.

    HATE HATE HATE THIS!

    Makes sense.

    Simple. They are the drunkest.

I have so many alcoholics in my life I have no tolerance for drunks.

    This.

I was active in my 20's, and it's funny to me now how much I hate drunks. Never had much use for them even back then.

Well the guy at the bar wasn't a drinker, just one of those that love hearing the sound of his own voice. Talks and talks. I think he was vegan too. Kept talking nasty recipes to the bartender who looked rather bored.

Well, of course there are folks who my sweet wife describes as 'not my cup of tea'.

    Sounds like he fits.

A long while back I was a prosecutor in the hills of Kentucky. Two KSP officers wrote more speeding tickets than all of the others at the Post combined. I asked them "How". They would pair off on a long straight stretch (a Kentucky rarity). One would park visibly along the shoulder. The other would be semi-concealed about half-a-mile up road. As soon as a driver passed the first visible officer they would then begin to speed up. And there was number two, ready to pounce. They would do this up the stretch and then back down, leap frogging all the way, several times per week, the state's coffers were replenished.

At the drive through, being asked to pull around when there is no one behind me. I ask why and they are unable to process that I am the only one there.

Correct, its CA. You can't have it in your hand at all, even to "check GPS" (which is kinda lame, but I get it because that's always the excuse someone gives if they were texting). I always ask the people why they don't use the built in bluetooth and its always an excuse of "well it was a short drive" or "I didn't feel like connecting it." My favorite was when they said "well my phone battery was low and I didn't want it to die by connecting it" yet they were talking on the phone...

I park in a way to be as visible as possible, because I'm not out here to be some sneaky snake. I give the driver every chance to adjust their behavior before reaching me lol. if its night I'll even leave headlights on and put on the rear traffic advisory lights if I'm on a side street (so people don't come up behind me waiting for me to turn or whatever)...and people still fly by without noticing me...clueless to their environment because they're so enveloped in the phone call.

The operation I described was "catch and retain (the wallet)". Now, I am old guy but I don't recall anytime since my early driving days being so distracted when young women or the radio had my wandering attention. Traffic was slower then and not nearly as crowded, so I didn't run into anyone.

I figured as much. I think my aftermarket radio has Bluetooth but I never use it, never really like to use the phone anyway.

The GPS thing you mention is one of the reasons I just spend the $100 for a standalone GPS and be done with it.
