I’m glad I’m not the only one that figured Jose clamps on the hard lines is good enough....Works great on my f150 tank

Ahh new tie downs. been eyeballing these for a few years now and finally pony'd up and got some.

don't know what you all are using for tie downs if you trailer but nothing beats these.

168 shipped off Amazon but i love that they are made in idaho. they demo them at EJS every year by trapping a jeep to a trailer then hanging the trailer in the air by its hitch with a crane.

on a side note if you take care of them they last for ever. my boss has as a set hes had for almost ten years now. the cheap straps that are this style are still $120 and ive had them for 2 years now the straps are starting to fray.

Yeah, spending money on a quality item is a good investment. I'll probably pick up a set.

I've got the same ones. Pricey, yes. Worth the price for the quality, also yes.

Thanks. Seems easier and stronger than flipping this mini axle, and not too expensive for what you get

Yep and you can get 3 different widths from them with shafts. Pretty sure their wms measurements are with solid axle hubs not the ifs hubs with tacoma brakes. May want to call and double check

Appear to be measured with the Solid Axle hubs according to LowRange. Which is good so I can sell my IFS hubs and have less scrub with the originals. This housing may pay for itself in little savings here and there

Just remember with the S.A. hubs you can't run the bigger tacoma brakes. Big reason I kept mine even though I ordered a custom housing. Stock tacoma brakes with a manual proportioning valve can't stop my truck with the 4.7 tcase. Just something to keep in mind.

May want to keep those IFS hubs just incase...A little extra width isnt a bad thing, an also opens up better braking options.

Good info to have. Crawl box is a ways off for me anyway, but I will definitely have to look into brake upgrades

I'll hang onto them until after the swap is over in case I need them. At the end I get to sell whatever parts are left and make some cash back haha

I'm sure most can tell but I love the extra width (almost full width now). Full steering, eliminated all my rubbing on leaf springs, cab etc. And helps keep the body off the rocks. Was a huge difference for me. Even with the tacoma tg housing with ifs hubs pretty sure that's like 63-65wms which is still wide

I just put up the one ton master upgrade kit on the website. The larger master combined with 3/4 or 1 ton calipers really does the trick. I tried both the stock master and the Tundra master, but both ended up with a pedal that went to the floor before I started to stop. With the GM master and Tundra booster I now have my stock pedal travel back. It was plain scary wheeling with the crappy long throw pedal, but it's all good now.

Has this been done with the stock booster? Just curious.
