Anybody have any recent experiences with Trick Trucks in Chantilly? I am looking at going through them to get a hard shell. I went there, met and talked with a couple guys they seem really nice and knowledgeable. Just wasn't sure if there was anything I should know about.

 

I had talked to them about a roof rack. I liked that they were able to turn away business and they were cool about it. *I have never purchased anything from them*

What did you end up doing for the ADD?

 

I will check that place out as well, I'm not opposed to driving somewhere further for good work. I have been searching a lot of for sale stuff including TW. The cap I'm interested in is the A.R.E. Overland, and it is proving difficult to find anyone selling them used regionally.

 

ahh yea. I have seen some online, but never used.

 

Truck'n America in Purcellville is great, but I don't think they sell AREs (only Leers). I am not 100% sure though. Definitely worth giving them a call.

 

I will definitely give them a call this week and see what they have to offer. I've read that Leer makes the best caps, and my grandpa has had them on his trucks forever it seems, but I definitely like the design of the ARE Overland better than anything else I have seen.

 

That is a sweet cap for sure. I have a Century, the low end subsidiary of Leer, and it's been great, but, I would take the Overland over mine 11 times out of 10.

 

Yea I will probably have to save for awhile to get the overland or just live off ramen the rest of summer to pay for it lol.

 

Hell yeh, man. Priorities haha.
