    Good morning all. I’m taking the wife and kiddo to Hidden Falls this Saturday. This will be my first time. I’ve done some light off roading at my dads place and the deer lease but nothing big. I don’t have a wench or recovery boards. Mine is a 17 4x4 OR with lift and Open Country MT’s. Any tips for a first timer out there? We will also probably do some hiking.

    The mods have probably changed since last update.
    Be sure to scout ahead! Last time I was there, I got in dicey spot because I was in the middle of a level 3 trail and decided I didn't want to go over a certain ridge. Spent a good 30 minutes trying to turn the truck around due to the spot I was in. Would have been avoided if I had simply taken the time to look farther ahead on the trail. Also, its always better if you have a partner or two to go with :thumbsup:.

    Have fun though! Hidden Falls is always a blast.

    Scout ahead, have a good spotter, be prepared with plenty of water. You get in a bad bind with any repairs to get home, I'm 20min east of there and could lend a hand if needed.
