    20180606_111547.jpg Hello Everyone!
Happy to be here, finally found the model of Tacoma I was looking for for a long time and bought it ( low mileage 4 cyl, 5M, AC, 2009+ model year).
Would have liked an SR5, but an SR came up at the right price.
This is our dedicated only vehicle for our family of 3 (son is 3 YO) Car seat fits great in the back after removing the headrest.
I'm more of a dual sport MC rider (2008 Yamaha wr250r) for exploring and camping, but want to start going places with my son, hence the move to the truck until he is old enough to ride a moto (if he likes.)
Just installed a Draw tite hitch mount, Airlift airbag suspension, and Curt trailer wiring.
Got a free canopy (Canadian terminology) or camper shell (US terminology), and will be looking to build or buy a proper slide in truck camper.
Had to replace the rear window in the canopy with Lexan, and am currently replacing the screens so it will be our sleeping area for camping until I get the larger camper.
Had a modded 2wd Mazda B2300 previous to this, but outgrew it. New to 4wd, all my experience is with dirt/dual sport bikes.
Looking forward to learning and modding this truck to get out and enjoy the backwoods and meet great people.
Looking to fabricate skidplates next, after I install a new stereo (Man the stock stereos are garbage).
Pretty awesome to see the variations of models available to the US market, you guys are spoiled. There's much less choice here in Canada.
